Diyabet Hastalarında İnfluenza, Hepatit B ve Pnömokok Aşılama Oranları ve Aşılanma Durumlarını Etkileyen Faktörler

Objective: Diabetes Mellitus is a health problem that has increasingly become worldwide concern due to its high frequency and complications. Infections in patients with diabetes major cause of mortality morbidity. The purpose this study determine the rates vaccination influenza, pneumococcal, hepatitis B vaccine diabetic patients, their awareness importance necessity vaccination, how they reach on those levels. Materials Methods: This was design as questionnaire based observational study. 504 aged 18 years older who were admitted Family Medicine Outpatient clinics, completed comprised 15 questions regarding socio-demographic profile, higher risks Influenza, Hepatitis B, Streptococcus infections diabetes, knowledge about vaccinations for infections, factors encourage them get vaccinated, other ways protect themselves against vaccine-preventable diseases. Results: Of participated study, 76.4% unvaccinated. proportion vaccinated Pneumococcal, Pneumococcal+Influenza B+Influenza 10.1%, 6.9%, 5%, 1% 0.6%, respectively. 22% had governmental support Diabetes. Conclusions: As result; it seen both care providers have lack vaccination. We conclusion may increase cooperation between Ministry Health physicians by actively using visual, printed social media broadcasting public service announcements.
